Rooney: Week of destiny!

Wayne Rooney reckons this is probably the week that will make or break Manchester United's entire season.

The Sun reported that the England striker knows the importance of the upcoming games with the Red Devils involved in the FA Cup, Premier league and Champions League in one week.

The fixture list starts off with an FA Cup tie against Fulham tomorrow, Internazionale in the Champions League in midweek followed by the titanic clash against Liverpool next Saturday.

Rooney said: "It's a massive week for us. We've got the FA Cup on Saturday, Champions League Wednesday and Liverpool Saturday, so it's a massive week for us.

"We have to make sure we prepare right for these games and do OK."

When quizzed about the domestic league title, he added: "Can I see any way we won't win the title? I'm not sure.

"There are still 11 games to go and a lot can happen but, obviously, we are in a good position at the top of the league.

"But we have to make sure we stay focused from now until the end of the season and be professional.

"Hopefully, if we do that we can retain the title.

"We're in a good position at the minute, we just have to keep playing our football and hopefully we'll be OK."

Crucial week for the Red Devils indeed but with the current form they are in, Ferguson can leave the worrying to their opponents instead.
