United takes on Blackburn


United are on a fantastic run now as they are now started scoring goals with people from all over the park and they they are not letting anything into their net . United can stretch their lead at the top of the table to eight points with a win on Saturday also van der Sar will be hoping for a clean sheet to break the European record as he has gone without conceding in 14 games . So he is counting every minute

With second place Liverpool not playing until Sunday, United will want to apply as much pressure as possible on their title rivals.Sam Allardyce's Rovers side currently occupy the last relegation spot and find themselves a point from safety.

Rooney is expected to start after his goal scoring come back from injury . He showed no signs missing games as he has scored with the first touch .Defenders Gary Neville and Wes Brown both missed the game against the Cottagers with minor knocks but both could be back for Saturday.Veteran Ryan Giggs was rested in midweek but his sterling displays of late could see him recalled for the clash.

Blackburn defender Chris Samba is suspended for the game after picking up five yellow cards this season.Rovers' on-loan United right-back Danny Simpson is ineligible to play against his parent club
