United thrashes Derby

Manchester United booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday with a comfortable 4-1 win away at Derby County. United's young guns scored another spectacular victory over Derby who made an unbelievable victory against United 1 month back .Goals from Nani, Darron Gibson, Cristiano Ronaldo and Danny Welbeck ensured that a Miles Addison header was nothing more than a consolation for the hosts.

Darren Fletcher and Ji-Sung Park had early efforts saved before Nani rifled a right-foot shot in from 20 yards.Cristiano Ronaldo had a goal belatedly ruled out after a consultation between the match officials before Darron Gibson volleyed home from 18 yards.Ronaldo nodded in a third before Miles Addison headed in for Derby but Danny Wellbeck's late curler secured the win.

Derby refused to be beaten though and deservedly pulled one back when Robbie Savage's quick free-kick found Commons on the right and his centre was headed home by Addison just before the hour mark.
